pamphlet descriptive of the country and
indicating the attractions of a career in
the Government services there. It is
proposed to distribute this pamphlet
widely to the principal Schools and
Universities, and it is hoped by this
means to stimulate the interest of
potential candidates of the right stamp.
It might perhaps be useful to compile
a similar pamphlet on Hong Kong, though
it would probably be wise to defer further
consideration of this suggestion until
the Malayan pamphlet has been completed
and printed.
17. I shall be glad to receive
your views on this matter in due course,
but, as I have decided to extend the
sphere of my Advisory Committee on
Education to cover the Eastern
Colonies 1 should not propose to take
definite action in regard to these
proposals until the Committee had had
an opportunity of considering them
together
